We welcome visits from schools and community groups.
We are happy to devise a programme to suit your needs. Visits often include:
-
an illustrated talk on the history of the hospital and mental health treatment
-
an archive handling session using the 19th century case books and Victorian photographs
-
a workshop based round the art collection
-
talks from current clinicians (these may be subject to last minute changes due to the needs of the wards)
Primary school visits might an art or storytelling session based on the paintings in the collection.
There is no charge for educational visits and we are always happy to tailor the programme to meet your needs.
