Continuing Professional Development

Throughout the year we organize Continuing Professional Development days for both primary and secondary teachers. These all take a particular theme or curriculum area and will generally include:

• an introduction to the education service and what we can offer

• an introduction to the hospital and its history

• workshop activities based on the collection and centred round the theme or curriculum area

• talks from other departments where appropriate

We also offer twilight sessions held either at the Archives and Museum or at individual schools.

There is no charge for professional development and we are always happy to tailor the programme to meet your needs.
